This unoaked chardonnay is all about the fruit-floral and tropical aromas of green apple, kiwi, melon and lemon zest. Bright acidity with apple and pear flavors, followed by a crisp finish of mineral, wet stone, and flint. A perfect complement to summer salads and seafood dishes.
Vineyard Characteristics
This is a 60-acre vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills Appellation. Rocky, volcanic soils make up these southeast-facing slopes, which rise from 250 to 500 feet. Planted to a variety of Pinot Noir clones, this vineyard also has a small planting of Dijon-clone Chardonnay.
Bright, refreshing and oh-so-tasty, this Pinot Gris has zesty notes of pink grapefruit and lime with beautiful florals intermingled. Composed of fruit from both the Rogue Valley and the Willamette Valley as well as approximately 4% Viognier, this wine is highly aromatic and has a nice weight to it mid-palate. The finish is long and strong with wonderfully balanced acidity and texture.
